Prioritize:

• people and interactions over processes and tools
• working software over comprehensive documentation
• customer collaboration over contract negotiation (?)
• responding to change over following a plan

This does not mean disregard the items on the right. This means value the left items over the right.

These agile principles were made concrete through the agile manifesto
